I like cork a lot, I like the size and design, but the smell is really really bad. The cork "leather" is very thin and papery, you can see the white weave of fabric that the cork is glued to. The material smells like toxic chemical glue. This clutch is beautiful and because of the vegan sustainably harvested cork I assumed it would also be chemical free. It arrived promptly and safely in a sturdy package. I could smell the chemicals before I finished opening and had to immediately take it to my screened porch because my eyes began to water and I was struggling to breathe!! After more than a week the smell is almost as strong and my lungs are more important than being stylish so I am returning the cute little clutch.
