Our bright, happy florals, geometrics and embroideries explore rapidly evolving attitudes around gender; our more conservative solids show off the classic, timeless rightness of our cut.Our summery shirts look great over jeans, slacks, shorts or a bathing suit, bringing a flash of modernity and joy under a suit or sweater. They are semi-fitted with a trick taken from an old custom-made English shirt; they fall with a flattering line while leaving space for comfort. Our long sleeves, short sleeves and tunics make the perfect gift. They are great resort pieces for Hawaiian beach vacations, cruises, luaus, psychadelic soirees at the disco -- anywhere you want to be reminded of happy times.Founded by the grandson of a textile manufacturer who for many decades was the largest employer in a small North Carolina town, ours is a direct-to-consumer model for domestic manufacturing.Pre-laundered and pre-shrunk, our shirts are machine wash and dry.
