A: This is an over cloak. I routinely wear cloaks in the spring, fall and early winter. The material velvet is of good quality.

A: hi，this cape is a Ordinary thickness,if you want to keep warm ,we suggest you choose our 63" cape which is thicker and warmer

**Q: Is it soft (both inside and outside)? I have trouble with scratchy fabrics.**
A: the outside is a velvet like material and the inside is not I would not consider it soft but it is not harsh feeling to the skin

I bought this for my halloween costume/renaissance faire. It is pretty thin and is not the warm velvety cloak I was hoping for. This is why i dont often shop for clothing online since I cant see and feel it myself. Over all wasnt worth how much I paid. Would've preferred a thicker and longs cloak that kept me warm on halloween when it was cold.
