Tricky to figure out at first but works amazing for singers or anyone with allergies
There are two locations to add water but only one is the main location and you have to open the top and unscrew. The drawer in front is for aromatherapy. However this works great for a great price and I love it. I’m a singer and I have allergies.

Great steamer
Great for the throat. Better than any cheap vicks or other crap steamers for the throat out there. Trust me, I know. I've tried many steamers. This one is the best. There is even a small slot to place a vicks vapo pad. Really therapeutic machine. Thank you

Excellent and safe steam inhalation system
I have this inhaler in the UAE and hence went for it here in the US. Works really well. The only gripe I have with the US version is that the cup for the face is smaller in size and only covers the nostrils and mouth. The one I have in UAE allows for more of the face to be covered by the steam, which is also excellent for complexion.

30 uses, then it died.
At the rate it died, it would cost me $360 to use it for a year. Very expensive.I've used my Purmist for a couple of years. I liked that I could wear it and still type on my computer.However, each my PurMist only lasted about 6 months. The cost per year to use was $300.I used the old standard Vick's V1200 for years. Very durable--one unit last 10 years. However, nothing seems to last as long as it used to, so maybe V1200 won't last now either. I didn't like how uncomfortable it was to lean over the Vicks.The Gurin listing says it has a 1 year warranty. Hopefully they will honor it.

This doesn't at all seem well-designed for use
The 'mask' doesn't fit my face well AT ALL.I don't see that the steam volume regulation changes anything.I may have mistakenly THOUGHT essential oils could be used with it - but they can't.The steam is really too strong AT ANY SETTING to actually USE the 'mask'My 1950's era aluminum Vicks Vaporub steamer worked FAR better - the Vicks floated on the top but melted and evaporated mildly into the steam. And 'inhaler' had to be 'rigged' - but it worked!

Great gadget for Fosters
Bought this to steam my fosters in a box instead of a room. After a bit of fixing the holes on the neck with duct tape, this turned out perfect for that purpose. All the warm steam was being funneled into an enclosed box and broke up any and all congestions in no time.

Not such a good buy
Sorry to say that I am unhappy with this purchase. The problem is that there is no way to control the temperature. It gets so hot that you burn your face. I would not recommend this unit.
