I loved that it was solar powered and lit up at night. That was a big selling point cuz I knew my girls would love that it lit up. Its the perfect size for our garden. It goes great with all our other houses we have in there from random different places. It fits perfectly! In front of my house where our garden is, the street lights on my street are super bright. Nothing solar powered i ever got for the front of my house would work cuz of how bright the street lights are. So I was a little scared that this house wouldn't light up. I purchased it anyways cuz i still loved the look of it either way. But after placing it in our garden and waiting till the sun went down, I was very pleasantly surprised and very pleased that it actually lit up! My girls absolutely loved it too! We have 1 other solar powered Fairy house in our little garden that I purchased the same time I purchased this one but from a different place. Both of them light up. But this one shines soo bright u have a hard time seeing that the other one is lit too cuz the lights are soo dull in the other one. This was definitely worth the money! I was a little back and forth about ordering this and almost didn't order it. After having it in our garden for a little over a week, I am very happy with how its holding up, how nicely it lights up at night, and all the cute little details on it.
