They are sealed with a wax finish to maintain a natural look. This set comes with a tile holder to display the letters as well. These are items are handmade to order. Not all wood is alike so knots and grain vary only adding to the fun rustic charm of this Scrabble display. Dimensions: The rack is 14 inches long and 1.25 inches tall. The letters are 4.25 inches tall and 3 inches wide. The display as a whole is 14 inches long and 5 inches tall.
