It works for me, my gut tells me that it is doing it job. I used to take a separate probiotic for that but this one I find is suffice for all my needs. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product *by "***" on January 20, 2026* Good ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can I make yogurt out of that? *by M***P on December 19, 2024* tl;dr I mixed 10 of these capsules into a 4 quart container of whole milk that had been prepped (heated to 180degF, cooled to 110degF) for making yogurt. 10 hrs later I had a new batch of yogurt. ---------------------- I was recently reading how there are a wide variety of probiotic strains with each strain providing different benefits to the human body. During my reading I came across some comments about how some (but not all) of these probiotic strains can be used to make yogurt. I like the idea of paying once for a 'starter' and then 'growing' my own probiotics. (I've been making 4-6 quarts of yogurt on a monthly basis for the last 7 years; the last time I bought yogurt was 7 years ago - a 1 quart container of plain whole milk yogurt I used as my 'starter'). So, I did some research and found this particular brand had several of the 'good' probiotics I had read about. Let's see if we can make yogurt out of these capsules ... I prepped 4 quarts of milk for making yogurt (ie, heat to 180degF, cool to 110degF). In a measuring cup I dumped the contents of 10 of these capsules into ~4 ozs of the prepped milk, stirred and stirred and stirred until mixed, then stirred into the main pot and started the cook. While the pot had converted to yogurt within ~4 hrs I went ahead and let the batch cook for another 6 hrs (total of ~10 hrs). Net result was a (very) tangy, slightly off-putting taste (well, it doesn't taste like my normal yogurt). During my readings I was warned that introducing new probiotics to the digestive track can lead to some shock reactions so I wasn't surprised when, after having a ~4 oz serving of my new concoction, my stomach felt a tad upset. Thankfully that was it ... a few minutes of unease, then nothing ... no queasiness, no gastrointestinal reactions, no montezuma's revenge, nada. I have since mixed my two strains of yogurt together and now have a single multi-probiotic version of yogurt that I cook on a monthly basis.
