They came home from the vet with the Elizabethan collars, and they were miserable in them. They threw themselves around trying to get out of them and we were concerned about them opening their incisions. These little suits are well designed and fairly easy to put on. We bought the medium size and they fit our 6 pound cats perfectly. The material is soft and stretchy (especially after a wash). The cats can use the litter box with the suits on, but one of mine just walked in circles around the box until I took it off. Not a big deal. My only criticism is that the Velcro on the back is wide and very stiff.
