Never dreamed I could be riding xc/single track with a face. It can feel a bit hot when stationary but moving slowly but quickly cools once you get going. I found once I put the chin guard on I didn't bother taking it off. I did however pop out the front mesh to make it easier to breath, it comes out easy enough if you push it in starting the top, as it's glued in with low adhesion glue.With there only being 2 sizes and my head in criss over size between the two, I have opted for the small, which is a bit snug but could benefit from different cheek pad sizes, saying that the hement is comfy and feels very secure. Note when putting on the helmet with chin guard you need to put the back of your head first then pull the front down over your face.
