The knitting is done quite well, however, I doesn't fit any mugs I own. I'm a barista, and proud to say I have an arsenal of mugs in all different shapes ad sizes. I really wanted the cozy to work and it didn't. I have to stress that I even measured the diameter of my mugs that it should have fit and compared it to the sleeve itself, just to make sure that I wasn't crazy trying to put it on wrong. To get over the mug and it's handle, it would have to be AT LEAST an inch and a half wider, but then it wouldn't fit as snugly. I'll add that it is also too tall for my smallest mugs (between 3 and 8 ounces). I'm sad that I have to return it, though. It's a struggle to get it on a regular size mug, maybe a baby cup or a shot glass.
