It is pretty solid. I use it on the fork of my Pettibone to pull around my jobsite trailer. I move it over uneven ground. The mount has a screw on the bottom. To tighten it to the fork. It works, however I also use the two loops on the side to run a strap through. Just to be safe. I recommend this item. **Q: This says it ships in 1-2 months... is that accurate?** A: Don't know. I got mine pretty quick.
