If you want a virtual reality device/goggles I would recommend this one.
This device does exactly what it says it does--provide a virtual reality experience. If you want such a device I would recommend this one. However, I can not use it--I could, but it would cause me some inconvenience through no fault of the manufacturing. I have an iPhone 6s that is in an Otter watertight case. In order for my phone to fit, I have to take it out of the case and that is not something I like doing--my phone was expensive and my case was expensive and I don't like separating them. Also I have to wear bifocals which means I wear large clunky glasses. That causes me to have my glasses pressed hard against my face and I still have to hold them just right. These are not issues of the manufacturer, only my burden of wearing bifocal glasses and dislike of taking my phone out of my case. If you don't mind taking your phone out of its case and you don't wear glasses this is the perfect virtual reality "goggles".

Overall good headset, but with minor issues.
I got this headset to use so I wouldn't mess up the cute little card stock one I got with my People magazine Star Wars special issue. It is a nice sturdy plastic with comfortable padding around the eyes. I like that it has the lens adjustment for pupil distance. I didn't notice any difference on the second adjustment type where you rotate the lenses, but that might just be my eyes. The latch release for the phone tray can be slightly sticky when opening, but holds closed well. The phone feels secure in the tray and, since the tray closes on all sides, I'm not worried about my phone sliding out. The removable covers on the tray back allow access to the camera on your phone for use in augmented reality etc.The only drawbacks, which made me give this review four stars, are the magnetic trigger and the instructions. The product is made in China so I assume that the instructions might be a bit odd to a native English speaker, which they are. The problem is that they don't explain the lens adjustments or magnetic trigger very well. These then become a trial and error situation, but this was not that big an issue. The bigger issue is the magnetic trigger, which isn't explained in the instructions. Just like another reviewer, I too couldn't get the trigger to work. Having never used a Cardboard before, I had no experience with the trigger. I did an internet search and tried a few suggestions, such as using the magnet on the edge of the tray instead or moving the magnet around the back of the tray to find a place it worked. The solution that finally worked for me, I discovered by trial and error. What I did was to leave the magnet in its normal spot, but to use it in a quicker motion than I had been doing. I found that when I pulled it quickly, in what feelt like clicking the handle on an old school Viewmaster, it worked. The "Exhibit" slideshow in the Google Cardboard app allowed me to get plenty of practice.Overall, this unit is a good way to step up from just a first simple VR experiment to actually playing around with it more. It is a nice price for the features and construction, and I am very pleased with my purchase.

Great fun
For under $15 these worked great and I won't be upset if they were only used on Christmas day.

The VR headset it self is good. The only reason I got this was because of the magnetic trigger and I was really excited for it and when I finally tried it the magnetic trigger wouldn't work
