Now the sheath is well made however takes care in putting the Kukri back into it. I put three in one oil on the inside of the sheath where the blade slides into. I hold the sheathed the top part never at any part of the angled part!!! I wiggle the Kukri blade into the sheath slowly taking care that the point of the blade does not catch in the inside of the sheath going into the sheath. ill draw and replace the blade into the sheath a few times. Also if you have cut resistant gloves like I do I wear them doing this. I also coated the outside of the sheath with three in one oil. This kukri will get passed down to one of my two sons after I pass over this life. It is a generational kukri that will last generations if properly taken care of. This company and the people that makes these for this company have great skill in making these kukri knives. I will take this kukri on my next remote camping trip with my dog and 12 other fellow group campers that we camp with remote areas.
