Maybe I'm wrong about that, but now I'll never feel the need to find out. The Twister is the most effective vacuum tool I've ever used, on bare floors or otherwise. It does an amazing job; it's much faster and far more thorough than my old, but half-decent, Hoover canister. I was nervous, when I took the Twister out of the box, that it would be too big, too unwieldy for my little house and all the things in it. But this thing is remarkable. Because it can swivel on several different axes effortlessly, it reaches around legs, under the couch and in corners as well as anything half it's size. It's made my vacuuming so much faster, and, honestly, far cleaner than before. Living in a beachy area with a long haired Aussie shepherd can test my patience; no matter how scrupulously I vacuumed with the old Hoover, sand always seemed to manage to reappear five minutes later, even with a clean dog. This new set-up really gets the grit up, and fast. The Olympus comes with a good-enough rug attachment, which I use on my one small area rug. But the Twister has made a very good vacuum cleaner a truly great one.
