The instructions say not to use bleach, but I do. It may decrease the life of the cloths but the price is worth it. I saw other reviews complaining about the size. The dimensions are listed in the description. After laundering in hot water and drying on the hottest setting, I measured them and lost a little less than 1 inch on one end (as expected with100% cotton). These are washcloth size. If you are looking for towel size, then order the larger version. I am not seeing the fraying or deterioration that others noted in their reviews but I only have had them about 1 month. Time will tell but they were reasonably priced and worth trying.
