I haven't had any adverse effects after using it. However, the smell is not my favorite and probably will drive me to use it as a last resort when my other shampoos are used up. The body wash, however, I will not be using again. Besides having the same/similar smell to the shampoo, it leaves my skin dry and itchy and after using it the first time, it left a burning sensation on my right arm after getting out of the shower. There was no burning sensation after the second time, but the first time has left too much of an impression. Also, be careful.
