I wanted to use them for gothic Halloween decor but they just aren’t black. More of a gunmetal/silver than anything. Boxes both say black, so I’m assuming they were packaged incorrectly because others photos of the black look truly black. Not going to return because it’s too much of a hastle, if anything I’ll go buy black spray paint. The trick is to barely put the middle bolt in the base because you need to have enough exposed after attaching the middle section and connector piece to put the middle candle holder on it. Once you twist the middle candle holder on the bolt, it tightens up the whole middle down to the base and is very sturdy. I loved them as they are easy to clean up afterwards and disassemble to store in small boxes. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Overall a fantastic purchase *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 18, 2021* I ordered this to add to my crystal shelf to make it look dramatic. It was a perfect size, the base to the top of the middle candle holder is 10 in, left to right candle holder is 11 in. When I added my candlesticks, it seems much larger. It came in several pieces, and it only took a few minutes to assemble. At first, it was a bit wobbly for my liking, but when I tightened it the whole thing was perfectly sturdy. The candle holders themselves have things that cut into the candle to hold them, so I can light my candles without worrying about them falling out. I got the candlestick from Micheals and Hobby Lobby and they fit perfectly. Overall, I personally think this is the best candle holder to get for this price.
