**Q: What's the filter size for the lens?**
A: Believe it or not, the lens is not threaded for filters. Instead, Nikon generously supplies you with a lens hood (HB-97) which is threaded for a "standard" 112mm filter. Don't enter this game if the word budget is in your vocabulary.

**Q: Are these nikon usa or grey market lenses? do they still come with a printed warranty certificate with the lens serial number on it?**
A: If you bought the lens from an authorized Nikon dealer, you'll get a Nikon warranty certificate.  When buying from Amazon, check the source of their 3rd party vendor.  The big name ones are usually a safe bet. Others require separate/additional research. My copy from Amazon came from Nikon USA and I registered on the Nikon website.

Lens does everything you want it to with minimal distortion. Great for real estate and landscapes. Build quality is not as good as the older AF model.
