Kleinen Abfallklotz als Schutz für die Sägezähnchen unterlegen, dann geht es auch schon los. Die magnetische Führung saugt die Säge geradezu an. Man muss Führung und Pen Blank mit der freien Hand fest packen, dann kann man super einen 0,5 mm Bleistift-Anriss durchfideln. Bei z.B. 15x15mm-Pen Blanks steht die Sägeführung allerdings ein wenig nach unten über - dann einfach an der Kante des Unterlegklotzes anlegen. Für größere Projekte - in dem Fall Fingerzinken/90 Grad - nutze ich die artverwandte Sägeführung mit der Messing-Fixierschraube fürs Werkstück. It say one is for softwood and one for hardwood, is there and actual difference?** A: Usually softwoods like pine use the 1:6. It makes the angle of the tails and pins a little steeper to hold better. Hardwoods use the 1:8 since they don’t compress as much as pine so the angle can be less steep. In my experience it doesn’t make an enormous difference, but “normal” is 1:6 for soft and 1:8 for hard. **Q: Is this for the right handed only? I am left handed.** A: I'm right handed and had to use my left for some of the cuts. This is because when you cut dovetails you have to cut at a couple different angles. **Q: where are the guides made?** A: Korea. The guide is o.k. but I bought a better one from Katz Moses. Made in the USA **Q: No 90 degree?its a trash** A: If you buy the one that’s sold as 90 then you get 90. Buy the one that’s marked as 1:6 and you get 1:6. The scratches could just be the saw not bang on positioning at the start ?
