They flavor is ok and it's a good chunk thickness for 3 little bars. ### ⭐ Russain emergancy food bars *by S***. on March 2, 2020* I now pity the Russian soldiers and any one else who depends on these bars. They have distinct soap taste. They are made up of fat and flower. They are toxic to any biological system. I am not sure they should be considered bio degradable. It was and experiment, they were cheap. It was a failure. I do not recommend keeping these on hand even for an emergency. I'm gearing up for some backpacking trips and have been looking for an emergency food to toss in the bottom of my pack. These are a small enough pack to take up very little room and looks to be a one day ration though if you're staying put and not burning calories you could probably stretch that a little. They're not crumbly like some I've seen and hold together well. The taste is slightly sweet but not too strong. While not fine dining the flavor isn't bad and one bar with a swig of water, at least for me, is pretty filling.
