When it came in, I quickly fixed my eyeglasses. Make sure to spread a white pillow case underneath because the screws are so tiny that if you drop one (or the whole kit), you aren't going to retrieve it/them if you drop it on carpet. It took a little finagling to align everything so I could put the screw in (this took a few tries as the first one I selected was too thick) and then screw it in. I think someone suggested that a magnetized screwdriver would be better and I agree. However, after I finished with my first pair, I noticed that my second pair had fallen apart and the screw was nowhere to be found. With the experience gained from my first repair, the second one took only a few minutes as I knew which screw to use.
