Instantly took the pain away!
Saved the day!! This stuff works great! I am constantly getting ingrown nails on my big toe and don't want to pay a doctor every time to remove them. Just yesterday I had a pretty big ingrown that I had been putting of until I just couldn't take the pain anymore. I had actually forgotten I had this and was frustrated and in a ton of pain until I remembered I had this. I applied some right to the area and it relieved lie pain enough for me to remove the nail!! If you has trouble with ingrown nails this is for you!

Wonderful product!
I had suffered from my large toe nails ingrowing for most of my life. The Doctors would dig them out, then after the healing process I would be ok for a month or so, but the problem continued to come back time after time. With outgro, the pain went away, and something also happened with the skin and nail, where the nail would not grow back in as it used to. I was able to start running again, without the huge pain I had before! To me, this is beyond significant! So, I recommend this to those in a similar situation, but then again, this is only my personal case with this, and other people and problems can be different from those I have encountered.

5 stars with a Caveat -Here are instructions on how to permamently avoid getting ingrown toe nails
5 stars with a CaveatThis new Outgro is not the same as the old outgro. In 1993 after the original outgro was on the market for decades, the FDA ruled that tannic acid was not effective for toe nails and the company that makes outgro took that ingredient out.So this is what you need to do:1) Buy the new Outgro. Then add a powdery tannic acid (preferably from Oak Bark) and add about a teaspoon or two to the outgro. Now you have something close to the old outgro2) The next thing you need to do is put this on regularly. I get ingrown toenail regularly. And I would put the outgro on my toes for a few days. That was a mistake. Its far better to put this on a regular basis (Or at least 1 month)3) What does Tannic Acid do to the toe? From my own experience, it hardens the skin. And as the toe nail grows back, it will not grow INTO the skin.4) If you are a diabetic you should consult with a doctor before using tannic acid on your feet.Feel free to comment and I will try to answer your questions

I was pleasantly surprised,
she wasn't too happy with how they lookedI used this along with Dr. Scholl's Ingrown Toenail Pain Reliever. It helped me with two ingrowns on both big toes. I will admit that cleaning out my own cuticles didn't help but added to my pain. It was serious first aid initially. Then I did this research and I saw this and used the Dr. Scholl's. My ingrowns are no more. My aesthetician was very impressed with how my toes looked last I saw her. My toenails grown long and I have much nail bed so when I initially went to her when I tried to cut them out myself, she wasn't too happy with how they looked- uneven and jagged since attempted to do my own surgery. She actually cut them out with ease. So it was just a matter of pain management. So after using these two products consistently, I am able to get my pedicures without worriment and wear my sandals this summer with ease. I guess they aided with the pain and also helped the nail to grow away from the skin. Also I did use the cotton ball method.Notes:I would also recommend soaking in Epsom salt, peroxide, Listerine (the original antiseptic mouthwash), or apple cider vinegar. These all have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Do not try to be your own podiatrist, it's not worth it. You will cause your own demise.

Works great!
I'm so glad I bought this. It gives me instant relief from the pain from an ingrown toenail I have on my big toe. I put it on about twice a day and I am pain free! I am using this together with Tanac. The outgrow for the pain and the Tanac to toughen the skin so I can eventually get under the nail to clip it out.

I can't buy this in any local store
It works for me. I can't find it anywhere but the price is pretty high compared to when it was sold locally. Luckily, it lasts a long time.

Does NOT cause ingrown toenails to pop out , like the old formula did .
The Federal gov by regulation has ruined this Product ... It is now simpply a topical pain releiver ... The old Outgrow formulas had Tannin in it and toughened the skin under the tonail forcing it OUT......... this product does NOT help with an ingrown nail OTHER than mild pain reliefe.... ther is a Product called "Tanac" wihc is sold for mouth sores (????????) that has Tannin in it and WILL help to force out an ingrown toenail..... I Read an article that said the FDA forced the manufacturer to remove the Tannin from the Old Formula because they could not show evidence that it was treatment for toenails..... GO AWAY FDA EPA and NEA
