I have two dogs, one walks well and the other is great dane puppy who's a hot mess on a lead. Using hands free with the good walker is the most relaxing pleasant outdoor walk of your life. She just walks next to me and it gives me both my hands and all my regular movement when walking and I can just enjoy the day and the journey. Using the hands free lead with chaos incarnate is empowering. I have the lead around my body and I hold onto it, My body weight absorbs the crazy tugging so she doesn't exhaust my arm, and I have more control to giver her a tug to follow me and then slack when she's doing well. And if the worst happens I can turn around and use my full body to pull her in a different direction. On the rare time both are calm, I can hook an extra lead into the hands free situation and walk both dogs way more easily than I do when holding two leads.
