I did eventually get a first coat on the newly built wood planters along my wood walkway and it took 6 bottles to accomplish it, but I noticed that there were bald spots where the spray had separated despite the perpetual shaking while applying it to the wood. It is still better than flex seal (it doesn’t turn yellow).
