You'll most likely have to stop before 60 minutes anyway to level the shredded material in the bin or empty it. I think I filled it twice with 40 minutes of continuous shredding but also had to level it several times once it gets over half full. It will shut off if the pile of shredded material gets too high on one side, which is how it fills the bin. **Q: What is warranty?** A: MISLEADING. It isn't 5 years on the cutting "parts", it is only for the blade itself. The unit only has a 1 year warranty. Mine just DIED slightly outside this period, they refuse to do anything but tell me to go buy another one. I had 20 years of files in my attic with account numbers and personally identifiable information that I did not want to just discard. This looks like the cheapest shredder that shreds into a bag. My wife and daughter thought I was nuts, but in two weeks, in my spare time, I filled 25 eight gallon bags with tiny pieces of paper. It should go through staples, but I removed them all anyway to spare the cutters. Just place up to 200 sheets in the auto feeder and walk away! Then change bags when it signals the bag is full. After all that, it still runs like new. I just junked my old shredder that I will never use again.
