What is it used for?** A: They can be used 2 ways, You can put alternate them with bisquettes if you want less smoke ie. one wood puck, one metal puck, one wood puck, ect. Or as others have stated stack all three on top of your wood pucks and adjust the smoke timer an 1 hour and the metal pucks will push all of the loaded wood pucks onto burner plate and into the catch pan completely burned. So if you load 6 pucks (2 Hours smoke time) nothing pushes the last 2 pucks onto burner so you only get 1.5 hours of smoke and the last 2 pucks are left on conveyer.
