I started drinking it because it's caffeine-free and replaces traditional coffee. Now it's my favorite. The flavor is delicious ☕️😍 ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good, but very bitter *by R***. on October 18, 2023* First of all, you have to brew this right. I tried it in a Keurig and it just clogged. I've found 2 ways to do it. Either use a traditional coffee maker and set it to "strong" or simply mix it with water in a cup, microwave it to a boil, let it sit a minute or two, then filter pouring into a filter placed in a coffee maker. If you don't brew it hard, it just doesn't extract much.You'll immediately notice the smell which is wonderful and very coffee like. If you try to drink it straight, it will likely be too bitter. In fact, I think it tastes like cigarette smoke if you drink it this way (maybe ok if you are a smoker and like that). You need lots of cream and sugar to overcome this bitter taste, but once you do, it's quite good. Not quite like coffee, but good. If you want it to be more like the actual taste of coffee, get some Pero of Cafix coffee substitute and brew maybe 1 cup of Cafe Capomo and mix it with 2 cups of either of the other two. They taste much more like coffee, but lack the bitterness of coffee (they always taste like weak coffee) which is why I don't like them by themselves. The smaller amount of Cafe Capomo brings out just enough bitterness that you could literally fool people into thinking they were drinking coffee (even if it doesn't quite taste like the coffee they usually drink, it is quite a believable taste. Anyway, I hope this review is helpful. I'm always trying to find that perfect coffee substitute because I just love coffee so much.
