It is particularly bad while my face is near it, for example planks or many yoga positions. I try to hold my breath for a lot of it because it is still unpleasant. Now the good parts are that it is JUST the right thickness and grip. I can wear socks and it still has enough grip. So far it is holding up but again, I use socks.

My oldest is 4.5 and my youngest just turned 1 and I'm still using both mats! I've also used the mats for workouts since I was utilizing the same space! There's only one spot that's damaged (very minimal, see in picture) and thats because I vacuum over it with my shark!! If you're looking for something to last and easy to manage, this is it!

I've had this mat for over a month. The first week I left it out 24/7 to off gas because some fumes are to be expected and this mat definitely had a potent smell. Ok, my new mission is to tell the world about this amazing product! I had been eyeing it and thinking that was a lot of money for a mat. But it is so much more than that. The first time I did Pilates I had all my gear spread out, I had room to move, and I was able to engage in my mat workout in ways I never had before, simply because I had space. It’s super thick and I use it on my hard wood floors. I have old tired knees and didn’t need a towel for them.
