In my salt lamps they do not show up at all, even with the dimmer fully on. I am very disappointed. I bought two, and I don't know what I can even use them for. Very dim. Don't show up in a lighted room. As a night light, might be okay if you don't mind the color changing effect. But I hoped they would show up in my great room that has 5 salt lamps spread around the room.
