I couldn't make sense of the width measurement in the size guide--it was much wider than any of my son's shirts and didn't correspond to his waist measurement. I thought it was a mistake, but, no, it's a wide shirt. So take note of the width measurement. It accurately represents the product. Otherwise, I bought a 4T for my son who is in-between 4T and 5T and the shirt is plenty big for him. The length is good. The material is very soft and it's a high quality shirt.
