I had shoulder surgery and was anticipating a lot of pain. This works great and performs as expected. At not even 2 feet away it’s very quiet and easy to hear the tv. I’ve used it at least 3 times a day for the last 6 weeks with no issues, about 45 minutes per use. I haven’t tried it with hot water. It’s been a lifesaver for me. Also, don't use your tap water, use filtered / distilled (it's always better for machines anyway) We use 5 frozen mini water bottles in this and keep an extra 5 frozen for the next round.It hums quietly and isn't loud at all.
