I have them in 2 bathrooms and on the kitchen counter. It is designed to stay in place, not knock over, is a good height, is weighted correctly, and cleans easily. I'm sure there are more pluses. This product is very sturdy the base is very heavy. It looks nice with the nickel finish and it was very easy to assemble. The only issue with the one that I just got is that it had glue on the top of the base. I tried to get it off and as clean as possible, but it still has evidence of the spot that I cleaned it's a little discolored there now. I am keeping it only because it will sit in my personal bathroom and guests will not see it. I would have given it 5 stars if it were not for the glue on top of the base. I tried to upload pictures but couldn't do it
