Mounting screws are included. Review: The jack and jack plate are very good quality. I installed in my paranormal squier telecaster but had to drill out the jack hole in the body of the guitar to be 1 inch before it would fit properly. After much research, I found the best tool to use (for me it was a 1 inch hole saw very carefully drilled). Installing the switchcraft jack increased the overall output of the guitar. Had to turn down the amp because the guitar is noticeably louder! All in all, I'm pleased even though it didn't fit the OEM Squier hole initially. Review: This product has been misrepresented as the real Electrosocket and Switchcraft item and the quality is extremely poor. I have been using Electrosockets for many years and this one isn't even close to the real thing in size, fit or function. Such a simple project. Just installed/screwed it electrojack and now not getting any sound out of guitar. Any suggestions?** A: Sorry to hear that. Double check that your solder joints are clean (re solder just to be sure there are no cold solder joints), make sure the hot and ground are connected to the correct tabs, and make sure you didn't break one of the wires during the installation. The jacks are fully tested, so it has to be a bad connection, cold solder joint, or broken wire. **Q: Does it fits a squire telecaster classic vibe?** A: Sort of. It does look different, but it makes for a very solid input jack. The screws go into the sides of the hole for the jack, but be very careful to align it perfectly before installing. There is not much room for error in aligning the housing. **Q: Can you use a 90 degree guitar cable with this jack?** A: Electrosocket jack plates are designed for use with a straight plug. Using a long version #11 jack MAY give a little extra length to use a right angle plug, but it is not recommended. This item comes with a standard length #11 jack, not a long version #11. **Q: Should the jack plate fit flush with the body? I have a new mim body and the plate sticks out a little bit .** A: Not exactly. The lip is a little larger than the hole in the guitar. When I did it on mine (a Chinese made Fender Telecaster) the hole was just a tad larger than it should have been for a good fit, but the jack plate is held in position by two screws (you can see one in the photo) and that makes it very secure and much better than the factory jack that Fender should have abandoned back in the 1950's. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review *by J***R on 14 July 2024* The jack and jack plate are very good quality.
