And what a wild, crazy, non-stop ride it was. Dirty by Belle Aurora was worth the wait.First, I know we all want to know about Twitch and what happens now. And we do get some of that, but this is Julius’s book. Not to worry, we get Twitch, but not the way I am sure so many want and need. But it’s coming! And still, this was an amazing story.We meet Alejandra Castillo, Ana, at 18, young, beautiful and innocent. Because of who her father is and family obligations, she is thrown into a situation outside her control. Years later, by all appearances, there is no luckier woman than her. But appearances can be deceiving.Julius Carter, Twitch’s best friend and partner, moved forward with his life after the end of Raw. Ling and him are now working together and are very successful. Julius lives for his family and takes his responsibilities seriously. But one look at Alejandra and he is mesmerized. But he also has a job to do.A decision was made; lives are forever changed and now Alejandra is running. She knows her life is forfeit, but is determined to make a run for it. Now everyone is determined to find her, but at what cost? Alejandra only knows this was her only one and only chance at escaping.Alejandra and Julius’s journey is not in any way easy, but would you expect any less in a story from the Raw family of books? I just can't imagine reading "Rebirth " in what 2019 ???,come on please let's stop with the nearly 3 year later books,it's annoying and takes away from the interest of your books for me.Now Dirty was more of a 3.75 book ,I rounded up to 4 stars because you write very well but this was no "Raw" and when you wrote in your acknowledgement portion that you took so long because you wanted to give the fans your best I had to think ,3 years of waiting for just a decent good read, ughhh, no this book was not strong enough to be waiting 3 years for I'm sorry to say. I will say I loved your writing for Twitch throughout the read ,that was so well done. I loved that Nox made a cameo ,that was fun.I honestly felt that Twitch 's story line was by far the best of this read. Julius came off "stupid " and incompetent in his profession in this read, he is suppose to be the best of the best in thinking ,killing ,figuring out stuff ,knowing all yet he was dumb as dirt to poor Alejandra' issues , I mean he couldn't figure her out ,then she tells him and he does nothing that he should have done until it's nearly too late and so much damage has been endured, I mean he throws her out into the world with that lame reasoning, he could have just handcuffed her in his home like he did days before and took care of business ,she would have been safer and had all her fingers!!!!, that part of the storyline was seriously ridiculous, it was just dumbed down writing, not appreciated at all . The first half of the story made a hell of more sense with Julius than the ending. Ling, she was interesting until she was just evil and than my interest in her went right out the window and to hate, what she did at the end to Alejandra made her pure evil in the worst way.The whole Antonio Falco Sr storyline just went down a huge dead end, what was all that for ??, that could have been so much better and more interesting than it turned out to be . Seriously if you can even remember if you were a Raw book fan than I say you must read Dirty but keep in mind that the Twitch storyline is the best and makes the most sense .The writing is very good I just think the author forgot to keep focused on Julius and Alejandro love story and just made the violence her number one platform for the second half.
