It holds everything that I need it to and even without a purse organizer which I purchased separately, it is easy to find what I need. It is sturdy and holds its frame by itself. The only criticisms that I would offer are as follows: I am not sure how sturdy the shoulder strap holders are. If used over time as a cross body bag I am concerned that the stitching that secures the golden rings that hold the shoulder strap would not hold up well so I am limiting the use of the shoulder strap. Also, I think someone else mentioned that the opening is not that big - the zipper goes across the top but not down the sides which limits how wide you can open it. I thought this would be a concern for me but it is not that big of a deal. Lastly, the buckle across the top is a nice accent and it belongs on the bag but it is not terribly convenient in terms of accessing the content of the bag when you are commuting. I work in NYC and live on Long Island and sometimes while traveling between subways and trains I need to grab stuff out of my bag and the buckle is a bit of a hinderance.
