TheraHoney Wound Gel, 1.5 oz. Tube (1/each)

My husbands nurse recommended this product for his bedsore. I cleanse the wound with bedadine, rinse with wound saline and put the honey gel on a piece of silver alginate dressing and cover with an adhesive dressing. Bedsores are a challenge to heal and takes time but the honey was the healng catalyst. To much info sorry but it worked..

I don't know. This is my third try with a medical grade honey for wounds. I really like the idea, but I'm just not sold on the cost benefit for my use.Maybe I'd like it more if I had a really big wound, but it's just too messy and doesn't seem to make enough of a difference for my small, <1" wounds. It's so messy to use. Even if I try to be sparse it seems to leak out foun under bandages, andit's too sticky to be used without a bandage even with a protective occulsive on the outside like zinc or petroleum jelly.BTW: I have no idea why the heck Amazon is asking me to rate its "style." I really think Amazon needs to reconsider how it handles breaking down stars. Also asking for a star rating for "scent" seems silly. I'm not buying it for it scent. If it's smelted incredible or stunk the high heaven, I'd mention that in the review. This is a wound dressing not a cosmetic or toiletry. I had a wound specialist use this on a big gaping hole that I had in my leg. And it really did work! So I had a small tear the size of a quarter and I couldn't have stitches in it cuz it was literally a circle. I put the honey in the middle and kept it moist with a Band-Aid over it and it completely healed! It's an natural antibiotic! If my doctor could use it I recommended it has to be good

Had an ulcer on leg, and used it to remove dead tissue and start healing. It was amazing what the difference 24 hours could make on the appearance of the wound. After the ER gave us this product. The wound was nice and pink and got smaller every 24 hours when I would put on new dressing. I could not believe my eyes, Wonderful product and the cost was very reasonable.

My pet received a massive wound in a fight with another dog. The wound swelling and infection setting in they could not close it with stitches. I started using this product on and around the wound and in less then a week you could see the infection and swelling gone. The healing process accelerated unbelievable fast. Absolutely worth itAbsolutely amazingI recommend this stuff to everyone!My husband got burnt by a torch on his hand and had a horrible burn he used this stuff, iodine & a bandaid and literally within days it looked 80% better! And it was gross bad!Very healing!!

When people are at the bedside, they tend to produce sores if they do not turn from side to side every hour. Lack of movement is another problem, and here I cannot post the picture before and after because is illegally profaned, but trust me, this is a great product in combination with the Theragel and sterile gauze. When the ulcer is in the bak close to the coccyx area, you will need Hydrofera Blue and live it for three days, but it depends on how deep is the wound.

My wound care doctor uses this for my chronic wound. Now that I know how to take care of the wound myself, this is the only product I will use. It burns when you first put it on, which means it is working. The burning sensation only lasts a couple of minutes. It is a small tube, but you only need about the size of a penny of the TheraHoney to be applied.
