And 43" wide. **Q: Can you ride a horse with wings on?** A: Yes you can. The only issue I had, was one of the straps separated from one of the wings and I stapled it back on. **Q: Can I apply lights on them** A: Ths wings are stiff, but it would depend how heavy the lights are. You can't really thread lights through the feathers. **Q: Could these be worn under a top coat to be revealed later in a play without damaging them?** A: They are pretty stiff and firm. But they are perfect for taking photos and videos, and to wear in less crowded spaces! They fit nicely and have white straps which I would keep in mind in case you have to alter them to match your costume better. They also came with a feathered halo which is a nice little bonus. The only small downside is it sheds tiny feathers, but it's not excessive and is kind of unavoidable so I didn't subtract any stars from my review because of that. Small pro-tip - you can spray the wings with hairspray to prevent a lot of shedding! It won't solve the problem 100% but it will help. The wings seem pretty durable as of now, I have worn them around a little (and bumped into many things) and have yet to lose any big feathers or see any issues!
