I've had Grovers in the past that had a certain looseness to them that made tuning harder because they'd take about a1/32nd of a turn before "catching" the gear. Speaking of gears, these tuners have a good gear ratio, so fine tuning is easy without missing the pitch. All in all, these could cost probably 20 or so dollars more and still be worth it (they were $40 when I purchased them). My initial review was poor because one of the tuners locking function did not work due to being stripped on arrival. Seller support was relatively poor in this case, they took two weeks to get back to me after reaching out. By that point I had already returned and rebought. So your only avenue of return if one single tuner is broken is to send the whole set back. Which sucks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can't Do Any Better for the Money *by P***S on June 25, 2025* Got these to replace the stock tuners on an Indonesian import guitar. To my surprise everything lined up perfectly and no holes needed to be drilled. That never happens! They feel very smooth and of great quality. Now string changes will be much easier.
