It seems like maybe it's not squirting enough cleaning fluid or something. Anyway, I'm done with this product. Amazon was nice enough to give us a refund outside of 60 days because of the runaround. --- original review The bot cleaned two window panes then developed a problem where it just went to the side of the window and stayed there without reversing direction (basically, stuck). Apparently this isn't uncommon. We're getting a replacement unit via Amazon, but, you ship a dud and you lose at least one star. Then, it's important to realize how limited this product is: 1) it needs to be plugged in while cleaning. I had assumed it could run on battery power. Having to run power to the machine is pretty complicated with outdoor windows 2) some windows require pre-cleaning .. for things like pollen. So, if your windows were fairly dirty and you hoped the Hobot could finally address the problem without a professional cleaning, it doesn't work like that. It's more like: get them professionally cleaned then use the Hobot periodically to keep them clean. 3) it needs a tether or it might just drop and break .. and if it falls and breaks, that's your fault, not a reason for a return. Basically periodic failure of the suction is an expected issue.
