They absolutely LOVE it...and so does grandma!!! It took 15 easy minutes for me to assemble. I had already purchased additional hardware to hang it [2 spring clips, 2 hanging chains, and a ceiling u-hook] beforehand and that took just a few minutes more. I positioned it 12" from the floor, so if any one of them fell no one could get hurt. It swings perfectly back and forth the way I hung it, but it will also twist slightly in either direction, as well. It's so comfortable with the padded edges you don't even need a pillow to rest your head on it and seems to be very well made. Besides watching my granddaughters giggle with delight swinging back and forth, I read my books, take naps, and just enjoy the rocking motion as the sun goes down while I am comfortably nestled on this lovely swing.
