SSD was recognised by laptop, Linux Mint happy to use, 30 mins later Linux is installed. Its made the old Laptop much faster than before. So speed wise I'm happy. Quietness does not really apply to an SSD as they have no moving parts. So yes its very quiet. At the time of purchasing it was good value for money. As for how good the SSD is well only time will tell. Always a bit dubious but ACER is a known good brand so hopefully its going to be ok.
