It sounds like you have either a triple front with an 6sp on the back or a double up front with a 9speed rear so I doubt it. **Q: The grips did not come with shifters, do i have to return the shifters & reorder?** A: These are grip shifts. They should come with everything in the picture, the grips and the grip shifts with the cables attached. If you didn't get anything with cables attached, I would return it. **Q: Will it work with sram x-13?** A: Is your Shram derailleur set a 3x7, is your cassettes a 7 gear and crank set a 3? If so probably. Ive found the pull distance between a Shimano and a Shram are pretty close. I've used Shram cassettes with Shimano derailleurs and was surprised to find it to work pretty well. Although if you want hassle free shifters, get a set of manuals pull shifters.
