(A:) No. One piece screw type canning lids are not designed or approved for home canning use. This type of lid is used in food processing as a hot-fill-hold process under very strict time and temperature controls. **Q: Can you reuse the lids for canning, or do you have to replace them each time?** A: I water-bath canned with them and I can’t tell if the lids sealed at all. They don’t pop in or out. Everyone I give my jam too, I tell them to keep it refrigerated just in case. **Q: Are the lables waterproof if you are using as spice jars?
