It easily blended into the smoothies and shakes even when mixed in a shaker bottle.I use fruit in my oatmeal so the addition did not change the flavor in any way. My yogurt is a vanilla honey flavor and again it did not affect the taste negatively.Yes, it has a bit of a bite so make sure you stir it in completely.The reason for the loss of star - the packaging leaves a bit desired when it comes to ease of use. It's big draw would presumably by whatever super chemicals it has in it; and I don't know how to review the degree to which it did or didn't give me undetectable health benefits. (I always try such stuff "straight" while my wife mixes it with other stuff, which I think biases (or even invalidates) the taste testing.)I don't think I'll get it again. But hey, let's see what my wife thinks:________________________________________________* In case it was loose powder that flew out when the package was opened, before opening it I whacked the bag a few times against the counter to settle the powder lower in the bag. This apparently moved the scooper all the way to the bottom where it filled up with açaí powder and had to be dug out with a spoon. The scooper is small.* My powder does look dark brown not purple but my soy milk turned purple which was reassuring.* Better in cold beverages than hot ones. I first tried it in hot tea. Not impressed. Not a strong taste but just blah. Tasted better when I added soy milk, honey and ice cubes to the tea.* The powder does not dissolve but maybe its not supposed to? It lined the sides and bottom of the coffee cup.* The package does have a well-designed self locking closure which works well but even so the powder in my bag does look like the humidity somehow got to it in the month I’ve had it.
