The three legged kind that has a built in flashlight, which need two or three AA batteries, is what i use presently and like it. If it's the cane that will adjust from 21 up to 37 or 38 when in walking position, With all three legs at it's highest position, the seat is at least 24" off the ground. my heighbor has the shorter kind but like mine better for a 6'2" man like myself.
