Pull that off and there is a felt pad to buff your skis with. I used to use an old sock or rag but this new applicator has everything built in. **Q: can I apply this to cold skis ? Must the skis be at room temperature ?** A: It works (applies) best in room temp conditions, but still works good in cold weather condition! I like this product very much!
