I had a similar pair that I purchased in a store about 5 years ago. When I wanted to replace them, I could no longer find them again. So, I purchased these in hopes that they would be as comfortable. They are, and in some ways, I like them more. So, I just bought a 2nd pair that is sitting in the box, for when these wear out. I'm not making the same mistake again! I love that they are not only comfortable, but water repellent. If I get dirt on them from being in the garden, they easily wash off w/the hose. I recently did a trip which required walking. I wore these all day, and they held up great.
