Essie 2 step gel like polish line is excellent quality! I work in the medical field so I was my hands a ton! This polish holds up like a UV treated manicure. I was sick of the damage I was getting from gels so I gave this a try! To extend your wear it’s recommended that you apply the topcoat again after a week. This is a great neutral color! I finished off with the step 2 matte topcoat. 😍

I have been using this product for over 6 months now. It is great! It is very liquidy so I recommend thin coats, but not too thin where you have no polish on the brush. I think the people with bad reviews may be applying too much or too little. Too much and it runs into cuticles. Too little and it gets sticky. After a couple of times using it you should get the right amount. It really does last long with ZERO chips, sometimes over a week, but not the 2 weeks without chips as advertised, but still looks decent. I have tried many polishes and these are really my favorite. I barely use my Dior collection of polishes anymore. Top coat is perfect. Makes application look even smoother afterwards, so if the initial polish is not perfectly smooth I assure you the top coat will fix that right up. Give it a try. Also dries fairly quick compared to other polishes.'At the barre' is a great opaque nude to start with. It gave me good coverage with just two coats and the top coat.I do have over 7 colors, however, and none have dissapointed.

I tried this color and was not a fan. That doesn't mean it's a bad product. It lasted several days and had little chipping. It would just look better on someone with darker skin. I'm fairly pale.

I'm a 12 year UV Gel veteran, but recognized damage to my nail bed so researched non-UV gel options. This product has great reviews across the board on the internet in multiple sites.I started with one color in thr 2-item set from Ulta. When the results were so sad, I gave it a second try by purchasing this other color from Amazon. In all I used this product five times with both colors with the same results. I found that the polish recedes from the nail tip starting at Day 3. It peels back leaving the bare nail exposed. It was very unattractive.I'm still in search for a non-UV gel polish that I can do at home that wears well. The search continues......and this set is now in the garbage.

I love the color. It’s a soft neutral color for that natural look to the nails. The nice thing about the color it doesn’t show the new growth of the nail as quickly. If you do a proper manicure on yourself and add a good topcoat…I’ve had mine last 2 weeks.I have a Cosmetology license and I couldn’t even get it locally in a licensed salon supply store. Had to find it here.

I have purchased this polish in two different shades now and I can't say enough about it. As a busy mom, I don't have a lot of time for pampering. This polish goes on super easy (no clumping) and dries in record time. This last polish on my toes lasted TWO months...no chips. It was shocking. Note - I live in Florida and never wear closed toes shoes...but I've never had a polish last more than a couple weeks. I thought it would take a crow bar to get off, but I was super surprised that it came off easier than regular polish with regular acetone remover. LOVE this polish.

This is a great nail polish but does not come with the gel couture top coat as it suggests from the directions and photos.

Essie's 2 step Gel Longwear polishes really do last. When using a base coat (Essies) and wrapping all my tips, this can last 2 weeks in between manicures without chipping. 2-3 coats and it is perfectly opaque.If you are looking for a sheer wash however this isn't the one, the first coat is too streaky to pass off as a sheer look.

I bought At The Barre. It looks a little bit dark but works soooo fine on my nails! A colour between beige and dusty pink.

Polish makes thousands of bubbles. Does not dry properly. Uneven finish. Patchy and uneven coverage. Chips fast.
