I’ve purchased it several times and really like the granule size, as it mixes well into my potting soil. There is no odor, although it can be a bit messy as the charcoal will stain in your hands if you’re not wearing gloves. Much like my cooking, I don’t really measure anything. I add a couple of tablespoons of charcoal to a small bucket of soil, and that seems to do the trick. The charcoal incorporates well into the soil.
