I put the Haiti harness on my dog and it was a miracle, she didn't pull; it's like she instinctively knew not to pull! I will say she didn't like it and was shaking her head when I first put it on, but I just calmly talked to her and told her what a good girl she was and said "no" when she shook her head. My dog is afraid of everything and was always yanking me this way and that way and almost pulled me over several times (even though she is a small dog). But not with the Halti harness! She's able to walk without pulling me when trucks drive by and when we pass houses under construction (the nail guns used to really make her pull). After day 2 of using the harness, she has adjusted to it just fine!I know others said their dogs were able to get the nose piece off with their paws, but thankfully I didn't have that issue. I think the key is to be sure to get the correct size; you don't want it to be too tight or too loose, so be sure to pay particular attention to the sizing chart.
